Vikki's Training:

Vikki’s Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) is from the University of Pittsburgh. Her post-graduate training is extensive and ongoing, and includes Energy Psychology with David Feinstein, PhD, Greg Nicosia, PhD, and Mary Sise, MSW; Energy Medicine with Donna Eden; HeartMath training with Howard Martin; Guided Imagery with Belleruth Naparstek, LSW; studies in Jungian psychology; group psychotherapy training with the Pittsburgh Association for Group Psychotherapy; Level III Certification in Exceptional Cancer Patients (ECaP) from the Mind-Body Wellness Center, Meadville PA; and Levels I and II of Matrix Energetics with Richard Bartlett. She is also certified as a Cellular Expansion and Healing practitioner.

Previous Experience:

In addition to over 25 years providing psychotherapy in private practice, Vikki previously was the Director of the YWCA Women’s Counseling Center of Greater Pittsburgh for six years, and Adult Outpatient Supervisor at Allegheny East Mental Health Center in Pittsburgh for two years.

 She has created and provided many women’s wisdom workshops and retreats, including “Gatherings at the Well;” provided theme-oriented therapy groups; provided training in Mid Life Wisdom; and has been a speaker on a range of topics for various organizations.

Areas of additional training complimentary to psychotherapy:

In a multi-cultural vein, Vikki has studied Native American spirituality (Seneca Wolf Clan Medicine Wheel teachings; Mayan Calendar teachings and cosmology ); traditions of Shri Vidya (the Hindu tradition of the ancient knowledge of Divine Mother); and Buddhist-based mindfulness and  meditation.

Vikki spent three years researching the pioneering areas of Midlfe Wisdom and positive psychology. She has done extensive work with Transformational Prayer with Connie Huebner. Her studies in quantum physics have focused on applications to human consciousness and conscious evolution. She has completed Level I Leadership in InterPlay, an interactive approach to connecting with body wisdom and creating community.
